Ryan Sidebottom finished with 7-47 as England bowled New Zealand out for 168 on day two of the third Test in Napier.
The home side were 103-1 just after lunch with Stephen Fleming playing superbly and looking a certainty to get the final century he craves. Then Sidebottom struck as the Kiwis threw away their wickets in an astonishing session of play. Remember this is still a belter of a batting track - the Kiwis just totally lost their way against some old-fashioned quality swing bowling.
England finished on 91-2, losing Vaughan and Cook. Strauss finally looked in some sort of form reaching 40 n.o. as England took their lead to 176 by the close.
Sidebottom already has 23 wickets in the series, including a five-wicket haul in each Test. You wouldn’t bet against him finishing with a few more come Tuesday night.
