England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has been forced to rethink plans for his new house. Neighbours in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire complained about the proposed five-storey dwelling and planning permission has been refused.
Flintoff bought the house for £1.85 million from Blackburn manager Mark Hughes last year, then demolished it and submitted his ideas for a much bigger home - to include six bedrooms, a gym, swimming pool and bar. I wonder if there will be pedalos in the pool?
Permission was refused because of the proposed height of the new house, although two floors were apparently to be below ground. It is expected that revised plans are on their way.
Flintoff needs to play some cricket and get out a bit more.
