Cricket Australia have made the decision to postpone their upcoming tour of Pakistan in the aftermath of the recent bomb blasts in the country.
Australia were due to play a three Test series, with the tour commencing on March 29th.
The Pakistan Cricket Board are hoping to reschedule the series in Pakistan, rather than looking for alternative venues. The last time the Aussies were due there in 2002 matches were played at neutral venues in Colombo and Sharjah again due to security concerns.
The two sides have not met on Pakistani soil since 1998 when the Aussies won the best of three series 1-0 thanks to a massive innings victory in the first match at Rawalpindi.
